-Established Patient Visit-

A focused visit for returning patients to review treatment progress, address ongoing conditions, or evaluate results of previous care. Perfect for acne, eczema, or medication follow-ups.

-Tick Removal, Assessment, and Treatment-

Worried about a recent tick bite? This appointment includes a focused skin evaluation to assess the bite area, screen for signs of infection or Lyme disease, and discuss treatment or prevention options. If clinically appropriate, prophylactic antibiotics may be provided. Early evaluation is key-especially in Maine. We can also send the tick in for definitive testing and give you peace of mind knowing if the tick that bit you or your child carried disease*.
*Lab fee applies, typical 36 hour turn around for results.

What Will the Basic Diagnostic Tick Panel Test For?

If it's a deer tick, we'll test for:
-Bacterial-
• Borrelia burgdorferi (Lyme disease)
• Anaplasma phagocytophilum (anaplasmosis)
• Anaplasma phagocytophilum - Deer Variant (non-human anaplasmosis)
• Anaplasma phagocytophilum - Human Active (anaplasmosis)
• Borrelia miyamotoi (B. miyamotoi infection)
-Protozoal-
• Babesia microti (babesiosis)

If it's not a deer tick, we'll test for:
-Bacterial-
• Borrelia burgdorferi (Lyme disease)
• Ehrlichia chaffeensis (ehrlichiosis)
• Francisella tularensis (tularemia)
• Rickettsia rickettsii (Rocky Mountain spotted fever)

-Eyelash Loss Evaluation and Treatment-

We understand how distressing it can be to notice thinning or loss of your eyelashes. Surrounding eyelash loss (madarosis) may be caused by inflammation, infection, or even overuse of cosmetics or lash extensions.
During your visit, we will conduct a thorough skin and lash margin evaluation to determine the underlying cause. We may include a prescription* as appropriate. *Medical diagnosis required, not for cosmetic use.

-Wart Assessment and Treatment-

This visit includes a skin assessment and treatment of common or plantar warts using cryotherapy (freezing), chemical application, or other in-office options based on size and location. Multiple sessions may be required for complete clearance. Personalized home care guidance provided.

-Kenalog® (Corticosteroid) Injections-

Quick, targeted relief for inflammatory skin conditions.
Kenalog (triamcinolone) is a corticosteroid medication injected directly into areas of inflammation to reduce swelling, redness, and discomfort. Commonly used for cystic acne, keloids, and localized inflammatory skin conditions, these injections offer fast and effective results with minimal downtime.
This appointment includes a brief skin evaluation, discussion of treatment goals, and administration of the injection(s) for up to three lesions. Most patients experience improvement within 48–72 hours.

-Stye Evaluation and Treatment-

A stye is a common eyelid infection that appears as a red, tender bump near the lash line. It can cause discomfort, swelling, and tearing. During your visit, we will assess the affected area, determine the cause, and discuss treatment options such prescription medications if needed.

-Pink Eye (Conjunctivitis) Evaluation and Treatment-

Pink eye is a common condition that causes redness, itching, tearing, and discharge from the eyes. It can be viral, bacterial, or allergic in nature. During your visit, we will determine the type of conjunctivitis and provide the appropriate treatment—whether that’s prescription drops, supportive care, or allergy management. -Skin Tag Assessment and Removal-

Have a skin tag that is bleeding, catching on clothes or irritated? During this visit, we evaluate the number, size, and location of your skin tags and determine the best method of removal. Treatment may include cryotherapy, snipping, or electrocautery depending on your skin type, number of tags and preference. Most removals are quick, safe, and require minimal downtime.
